Help with Purr Room.

Purr Room is coming soon to the App Store. It isn’t available to download yet.

Email hello@aimantas.com with your iPhone model, iOS version and what happened. In the app, Settings › Contact opens the same address.

Getting started

1. Add your cat. Breed and age decide what to try first.
2. Play a sound, quietly. Start near silent and raise it slowly.
3. Rate the reaction. Loves it, Meh or Nope, after a few tries.

Purr Room runs on iPhone with iOS 18 or later.

Questions

How loud should it be?

Start near silent and turn it up slowly while you watch your cat. Cats have sensitive hearing, so what sounds quiet to you can be plenty. If your cat flattens its ears, lashes its tail or hides, turn it down or stop.

I can’t hear the cat-only band. Is it working?

You’re not meant to hear most of it: it sits above what most adults can hear. Phone speakers also often fade above 18 to 20 kHz, so on some phones parts of the band barely play at all, for you or your cat. Use the check tone to set the band floor, and if your cat doesn’t react, try the calm or play sounds.

Can I start sounds with Siri?

Yes. Try “Play Purr in Purr Room”, “Calm my cat with Purr Room”, “Set a sleep timer in Purr Room” or “Stop Purr Room”. The same actions are in the Shortcuts app.

What does Purr Room Plus add?

Every sound including the cat-only band, unlimited cats, saved mixes, and the field mouse and firefly for the screen hunt. It’s a yearly subscription that starts with a free week, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Compare Free and Plus.

How do I restore Purr Room Plus?

In Purr Room, open Settings › Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought Plus with.

How do I cancel the subscription?

On your iPhone, open Settings › Apple Account (your name at the top) › Subscriptions, choose Purr Room and cancel it there. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription. The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment and never renews.

Does it replace a vet?

No. Purr Room is for comfort and play, not treatment. If your cat seems unwell or its behaviour changes, talk to your vet.
